PowerEdge 1950 RAID Key Authentication Error
Our PowerEdge 1950 shows a Raid Key Authentication Error during boot and I cannot find any information on this problem. I am thinking that either the Memory module in the RAID card is bad or it is the battery but I just haven't seen this before. Any information on the topic would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I re-seated it, including cables and memory. System BIOS should be the most recent but I can't verify which firmware version is installed. It's strange though because it has been fully functional for the past 4 months with no BIOS or firmware changes and then I came in one morning and it was throwing this error message. It makes me think the memory module or battery is at fault but I just don't know enough about how the hardware works to pin the issue down.

Robert,
Sorry for the extremely delayed response but it is the PERC 5/i controller. How can I clear the hardware logs?
Thanks,
Tim
