OMSA for Windows 7 on an R710?

I appear to be able to install but not log in or use OMSA on an R710 running Windows 7 (only a desktop OS is supported by the vendor that publishes the application that runs on it). I had a failed hard drive recently in the RAID 5. I feel that after hot swapping with a new drive that the drive did not join the array. What tool can I use from within Windows 7 that will allow me to view the status of the individual drives? I do not want to have to manage the new disk drive from within the boot process as I am remote and my iDRAC licensing does not cover storage management.

There is not a way to manage it from Windows 7, it either needs to be done outside the OS or use a validated OS and run Windows 7 as a virtual machine.
