No Post, fast fans
Hello,
We have a PowerEdge R520 that will not post to Bios. The power supplies light and the fans spin when you turn it on, but they spin at high RPM's and don't drop down to normal. Also, the ID_BTN light is flashing amber on the back next to the power supplies.
Things we have tried:
1. Power drain
1a. Unplugged for 12 hours
2. NVRAM clear jumper
3. Reseated all memory
4. Tried booting with systems build DVD to run firmware updates, but it will not load.
No Events found!

Also, the SD Card Module Reader now has an amber light that wasn't there before.

As instructed, we removed all devices except the 2nd CPU as we currently do not have any dielectric grease to reinstall. This allowed us to boot the server. It showed "configuring memory", then initilization of the iDrac, which failed, then it rebooted and posted the bios after quite a while. So then we shut it down and installed a keyboard. Now it boots, shows configuring memory and then after a long pause, the fans spin up and don't spin down. There is stays until we shut it off.
