Dell Server R520 Won't boot
Hello,
When Our server boots up, we get a message
"Raid Adapter
Firmware Failed Validation!!!
Adapter needs to be reflashed
Press any key to continue"
I then press a key it loads and on the final page, we have these messages:
"PXE-E53: No boot filename received
PXE-M0F: Exiting Broadcom PXE ROM.
No boot device available
Current boot mode is set to BIOS
Please ensure compatible bootable media is available
User the system setup program to change the boot mode"
I worked with Avigilon and they stated the Raid controller is not being recognized.
Any help would be appreciated
Thank You
CJ

Hello
The message indicates that the firmware on the controller is not loading properly. The controller is detected and attempting to load the firmware, but it is unable to complete the initialization process. Since the RAID controller is not initializing the system is going through the remaining boot device list to try to find something bootable.
Which RAID controller are you using, and what happened prior to this issue starting?
Thanks
