BIOS 1.1.2 update
I have a BIOS 2.2.5 on a DOS bootable USB, when I use the f11 menu the machine still boots the OS. I have a use SC1435 running Ubuntu LTS. Will switching the HHD for something without an OS help? Should I start with pulling the CMOS? Should I go as far as to remove a processor and lots of RAM?
I don't want to do more than I have to.
SATA B won't activate either. Obviously I didn't pay much, but I am having fun and just wish the mouse would handle web applications quicker.

Hello
Make sure you have set the available boot options correctly in the system BIOS. If the system is not seeing the USB device as bootable then the device is either not compatible or not properly formatted to be bootable. I suggest using FAT32.
