Accessing computer via DRAC

I have a windows 2008 hosting 2 VMs on hyperv.  One is the domain controller the host needs to log in to.  We don't have the password and I plan on trying to use the ease of access exploit (boot from cd) to change create a new admin account.  BUT I don't know how to shut down the vms and host gracefully or in a way that when I start back up (and am unable to reset the password) that everything will start again.   Can I get in from the DRAC to gracefully shut-down and startup both the host and VMs without the domain password?  Also if anyone knows if this exploit will work in this situation or not -- do I need raid drivers?  I'm not sure which 'drive' to find the windows OS I need to get into.
