Windows 10 Home SL not updating 0x80240fff
please provide me a direct email link to tech support team regarding the following :
bought this new Inspiron 13 7359: intel core i5 6th Gen, 8gb ram, 500 gb hybrid-hdd (8gb ssd, though yet to realize it's presence !) the day before yesterday(28thMay,2016) in Kolkata, India from an authorised Dell Store. The 1st thing I checked with the Run prompt : "winver" and confirmed the windows build number : 10240 : my 8years old dell studio had this win10 version more than an year ago since the rolling out of the rtm via insider preview build. So naturally the first thing I wanted to run was the windows update BUT then had to stumble upon the following msg several times without any change:
"There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80240fff) "
According to ms site it's apparently due to the customisation done on win10 OS by dell which is the culprit here ! So who is going to fix this and how and how fast??!! is there any official dell guy here??
