(Redirected) Why won't my touchpad disable? Inspiron 15 7000 Series 7559

Hello, I just got the Inspiron 15 7000 Series 7559 i7 processor Windows 10. This is my first  Dell and I love it so far. However, I can not seem to disable the touchpad. I went into the settings and turned it off but its not going off. I use a mouse via usb or the touchscreen so I am needing to disable the touchpad because it is making it very frustrating to type. Every time I start to type it goes all other the place because my hand or thumbs touch the pad. Any suggestions??

As you have a laptop, best to post this in the Laptop Forum here:
