(Redirected) printer won't install - is this due to lack of ink?

I just bought a second hand 1320c laser printer.  When I plugged it all in it flashes caution at two toners.  However, before I bought new toners, I wanted to make sure it installed properly.  I can't seem to finish the installation process, however.  Is this normal and do I just need to buy new toners, or is there something wrong?  I don't want to go ahead and buy a new set if it's a duff printer.  Thanks in advance.
