(Redirected) Painful interaction with Dell technical support

Before Thanksgiving 2015 my computer began having problems.  I contacted tech support and they decided to send a tech to my house to repair.  The repair literally worked for less than an hour.  I contacted support again and was told that it would need to be shipped to Dell depot repair.  After some time I received an email stating that the computer was not able to be repaired, so it would be replaced.  I have received emails stating " we have to get approvals"  then received additional emails indicating the approvals were obtained.  More email stating you will be receiving shipment information "soon".  I contacted them again this morning and was told "we are waiting for an order number to be generated"  Really!  How long does it take one of the most technologically advanced companies in the world to generate an order number?  I have a friend who owns a small business and can generate an order number faster, he writes it down and the process continues.  Here we are over a month later and still no computer!  This is ridiculous and I feel that other Dell consumers need to be aware of how painful this process is and to consider going elsewhere.  If I owed Dell money for something there would be a different level of motivation to collect.  Why can't that same level of motivation be devoted to getting my replacement computer.  I will be participating in other consumer websites to warn of this poor service and just complete lack consideration for the consumer.
