(Redirected) Order Not Received and Dell cannot be Contacted
I was due to take delivery of my laptop today and followed the courier`s tracking with anticipation. Then I received an e-mail saying that a delivery attempt had been made and a card left through the letterbox. Nobody caked as I at home all day working in a front room with a view of the road; no courier vehicle and no card left through the door. I tried without success to contact the courier but their automated system has no facility fir reporting problems such as mine and you cannot e-mail them. So I tried to contact Dell and that was equally unsuccessful as you need all sorts of codes from delivery notes and the likes. You cannot actually speak to anyone and Dell does not seem to care about that. Eventually I used the online chat and left messages but I do not hold out much hope. I am now some £800 out of pocket and nobody seems to care. So much for customer service.
Anyone else had similar problems, if so how did you deal with it?
