(Redirected) Hard drive failure in my desktop XPS 8500

The Seagate 2 TB hard drive has failed in my XPS 8500 desktop.  I have a recovery usb drive and an image backup on an external drive.  I purchased a Western Digital 1 TB blue drive that I have installed in the computer.  When I start to install the image I created, Windows comes back and tells me the drive is to small.  The original drive was set up as a Raid drive and the new WD drive shows as a non Raid drive.  Will this cause a problem?  Also, my image is only 197 GB which is way smaller than the new drive capacity.  When I'm in the bios, it does show the WD drive on SATA 0 port 0 but it also shows a Samsung SSD 32 gb on MSATA 1 port 1 set up as a Raid drive.  Please help.

Thank you,
