Pop Ups on Site?

Is everyone else getting the pop up with these words? If this board is going to bother us with Pop ups I just may leave. I like checking in here daily for help issues and possibly helping others if I know the information there looking for. Well here is what the pop up is asking.. And it doesn't make since because I am logged in.

Nope soon as I came back here to see your post I got this. Now I get two? I will not play this game..........

There have been several changes/additions to the forum lately.  Even those of us that are supposed to be forum guru's are getting them.  I answered a users question and got a pop up about finding what I needed.

Personally, changes but not for the better.

Here is the page Dell630i asked me to make not sure If I made it in the right place but I guess mods will move it if needed. I added links to the build parts as well. I am still working on this build and improving areas.

Just for kicks I clicked on the button ask a question in the pop up hoping it would never come back again. This is the page it took me to lol.

Admin or web designer please fix these issues. I am a web designer if you need help.

Yeah web designer needs to get on this fast. I should not be seeing this help popup and if it remains I am afraid I will have to leave the site. Shut they already gave me a broken pc and now there making me use a broken site lol.

Yes the pop ups are still here.

Admins please add a option to turn them off in the user panel. Or give me access and I will do it for you.

It is odd that it prompts you to create an account when you're already signed in.

That new one scared me when the soulless looking kids popped up on my phone!

I had to switch to desktop view on my phone just to use this site.  There's no option for me to x out the halloween popup on mobile.

Sadly history is repeating itself; first radio, then television and now the internet...nothing but advertisements.

A few would be a necessary evil, but then the greed takes hold and it seems there are nothing but advertisements.

A major soft ware company's current solitaire game version is constantly interrupted with advertisements.  I tolerate it for a short time but then it ruins the game so I just stop playing and do something else. 

I suppose I will do the same with this site.

I am a web designer by hobby I started connect web designs  about 6 months ago, maybe I should just buy a domain name and make us all a site we can hang out on and help each other with mods.

I like calling them "pop-overs," because they annoyingly pop over the site you're trying to work with.

The one @Anonymous screengrabbed isn't an ad.  I'm sure you noticed when you 'X' it, "Ask Question" icon remains onscreen.  That's the new way to start a thread.  They could've just used the icon.

I did get a new pop-up today for Dell EMC tech newsletters & etc.
