Format icon name

The username color is based on level/rank. So not a change that you can make on the fly. It automatically changes color has the level/rank changes.

Hi @DELL-Chris M thank you for the clarification. On 10-02-2020 at 02:57 PM, Notification feed says you earned the Tellerium badge and was welcomed to Level 4 with the gift of colour......

Icon name is greyed out and is not automatically changing colour as the level/rank changes. When are these colour changes going to be implemented?

Hi @DELL-Chris M   "The username colour is based on level/rank." Other users with less badges have their username in colour. Guess it must be independent of badges earned. Where is my level/rank to be found?

Talking with Rosie. The badges show you have earned up to Tellerium. But your Forum label says that you are at Cadmium level. The weird thing is that Cadmium is not in the badge list. I only see Cadium.

She said you will see the changes when you reach level 7. Levels and Badges must be different components of the user rating.

Hi @DELL-Chris M  Have a look at other user icon appearances in the Alienware Laptop forum, etc. We can see that level 2 badges upwards have either an icon name in black or colour text. Where is the option, that I can have my icon name in solid text (just like other users)? 

Note: Cadium is not a an element. 

Hi @DELL-Chris M  Notification feed says: You earned the Tellerium badge, then eight days later says: You ranked up to 4 Tellurium. Note the spelling is different. Very odd community behaviour. At last the name format changed from greyed out to solid colour, prefer a solid black. We also note that other users have a solid colour when they join with a 1 rank. This inconsistency is very odd.
