Direct Messaging

I am trying to direct message a Dell Employee
* Which Dell Employee? Assuming DELL-Daniel V?

I haven't found a resource that shows when or if i'm eligible to unlock messaging.
* You should currently be able to Direct Message us Dell Liaisons, but not other users. Click my username, on right click "Send this user a direct message". What happens? Same as above?

to submit certifications and bypass ranks to become a TechExpert
* Did one of us Dell Liaisons state to you that this was a possibility to bypass ranks?

According to this Post by DELL-Daniel V, to be approved for TechExpert rank you must attain the role of "6 Operator" =

Answer 1. Yes, I am trying to contact Daniel V or a Dell employee onto how to enable messaging or report a bug. 

A2. On both Mobile and Desktop, the Private Messaging Option on the Dell Navigation Bar next to the notifcation icon is not available when viewing your profile or Daniel V's.

When visiting your profile, I experience the same problem as explained above. I can see a link that says "Direct Messaging", but it sends me back to the home page.

Additionally, I have looked for resources on the forum to unlock Direct Messaging but none are found.

I also see your concern that anyone should be able to contact a Dell Employee regardless of their rank or if they're nominated to Intern. 

A3. Yes, as said in Daniel V's post you can contact them to submit certain certifications such as Dell Proven Professional and CompTIA A+ or A+ Training and possibly become eligible for TechExpert. Even though my account has a low rank it should be possible to bypass the rank requirements.
