Your DNS server might be unavailable

I can connect to my Wireless Repeater Adapter but I can't connect to the internet. I have tried running as the administrator in command prompt and using different commands to reset the ipv4, 6, flushdns, release and renew etc but no joy. I've tried resetting the router, rebooting it, network reset, updating the adapter driver, enabling the adapter, disabling network sharing. Literally everything and still I get the error message "your DNS server might be unavailable". Now one issue that comes up in Command Prompt is "Media state disconnected and can't connect to the internet" when I try to enter certain commands. Any idea what else I can do?

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.
