XPS L702X Bluetooth not picking up Bluetooth devices

Hi,

Out of the blue, my Bluetooth devices were not able to connect to my pc, however, my WIFI connectivity is OK.

This started by not having the option to connect on the menu of the device (right-click).

I uninstalled and installed again the drivers but the issue persisted. 

I've done all the checkings suggested in many posts, also I have knowledge of fixing PC's, however, this is a tricky one. 

a) I would like to know if there is a test that can tell me for sure if my Bluetooth card has to be replaced

b) Can I replace it with the  Intel WiFi Link 6235 Wireless-N Mini-Card + Bluetooth 3.0 or there is a newer card supporting Bluetooth 4.0 or 5.0 suitable to XPS L702X?
