XPS-13 9360 brand new with bum Killer wireless adapter
From what the "premium" tech support team in India tells me as they pass me around in loops, presumably laughing while I'm on hold, the "ideal" wireless adapter for the XPS-13 9360 is the Killer Wireless-n/a/ac 1535 Wireless Network Adapter. Absolutely not so! When you read articles, reviews, and forums, you'll find that Dell is perfectly aware that this adapter is not only unreliable but causes a multitude of problems with maintaining connection, long wake-up times, trouble rebooting, etc. The premium tech team in India literally will not admit that they know this is a problem with placing the Killer Wireless adapter in the XPS-13. And the only solution they've been willing to offer so far is to replace my laptop.
I think it's clear that this is an insulting and ridiculous option, considering that my laptop is a mere 2 weeks old and I've spent a great deal of time setting the thing up, loading software, replacing lost data, etc. This, when I know from my extensive research and numerous useless calls to "premium tech" that they could simply replace the Killer adapter with one that works, such as the Intel 8265NGW.
At this point since Dell refuses to resolve this situation or let me speak with any tech who isn't rude, unresponsive, and condescending, I would NEVER recommend the XPS-13 to anyone. And whoever touted Dell as having decent-to-good customer service must have been bribed.
What the is wrong with a company that won't resolve a simple issue on a laptop that I spent an enormous amount of $$ on (customized)?

Hi HoppinMadCat,
Thanks for posting.
Apologies that your computer is not working the way you expected. Unfortunately, Dell can not replace the wireless adapter with anything other than what was shipped with the computer. However, if the computer is just 2 weeks old, you should be eligible to return the computer for a refund. That way you could purchase a different model with the wireless adapter you want. Customer care would be happy to assist you with this process, be sure to mention the wireless issues you've been having.
