Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 connection issues

Received yesterday my new controller from Dell. It looks and feels amazing. Actually, I was so excited. However, excitement died quickly. It did connect to my PC's bluetooth seamlessly. However, once I launched my games, I observed that it randomly disconnected during my gameplay, which is awful as this is not a cheap controller. I thought it could be a bluetooth issue, but it is not, as I always use a regular XBOX One controller, and it works flawlessly. I did look at forums, and it seems I am not the only one experiencing this. I have returned the controller to Dell as it is defective. They will send me a new one. Dell was quite good in that matter. They responded quickly and were very understanding. I had actually ordered a second one when I saw how nice the controller was, but then canceled the order once I saw all the issues. Hopefully Microsoft will fix those issues soon.
