Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter

When I opened up my laptop I was not connected to the wireless internet and upon inspection windows had told me that my computer was not connected to any networks, and when investigating further and troubleshooting the problems windows had not detected any wireless network adapters I had tried a network reset but it didn’t help at all. I’m not entirely sure what to do anymore
