Wifi not working on Dell inspiron 15 series 7000 AT ALL.
So I woke up one day in the morning to play on my laptop like always and all of a sudden it's not connecting to the wifi. It will show the symbol in the bottom right corner but it will be dark and have a red line going through it. I tried most of what I could find to fix the issue and nothing worked. It's been almost a year now since that happened because I haven't been able to fix the issue. This was back in 2025, not sure what day and im pretty sure it was after the windows 10 update that my computer stopped working but I could be wrong. I did tons of research and some said I need to update my computer and I checked in my setting and I did but I couldn't because it needs to connect to the wifi to do that. Im in the process of getting a new charger for it so I can try and fix the issue. I just recently opened the bottom of it today and found out both of my WLAN cables have been disconnected from the medal round piece that goes into the card, exposing the wire. My laptop is a 2014 Inspiron 15 series 7000 and mines the 7547 laptop. If anyone knows how to fix this issue and my wires please give me tips and help a fellow out!

The antenna leads are damaged - how much do you want to spend on repairing a system with a total value of about $50? The less expensive option is a $20 USB Wifi adapter.
Otherwise, the display assembly needs to be replaced.
