WD19S dock on PC no video?

I have a Dell WDS19 dock I got from work to use with my dell work laptop. I work from home some days and use it on my home PC’s dual monitors. However it’s annoying unplugging and replugging all the cables every time I switch from pc to laptop. I tried to plug the dock into my PC through a usb c female to usb a male adapter but the video output didn’t pass through, only the keyboard and mouse did. Is it possible to get this work or no?
