Vostro 5468, WiFi issue, connections
Hi,
I got problem here.My laptop Dell Vostro 5468 cant connect to wifi but,can access to internet via Ethernet cable. I try to troubleshooting by windows network diagnostic,but the problem still exist. Problem that come out after troubleshooting is "you have no preferred wireless network". Anyone that have solution to solve this problem?

How long have you had this computer? How long was the WiFi working? What software changes did you make prior to the issue?
* Open the Device Manager
* List all items in Network adapters

Its was a brand new laptop that comes with warranty and i use this computer for previous 3 month and together with WiFi. Nothing software changes made up.
Here is all item on Network Adapter:
-Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network)
-Bluetooth device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI)
-Intel (R) Dual Band Wireless- AC 3165
-Realtek PCle GBE Family Controller
-WAN Miniport (IKEv2)
-WAN MIniport (IP)
-WAN MIniport (IPv6)
-WAN MIniport (L2TP)
-WAN MIniport (Network Monitor)
-WAN MIniport (PPPOE)
-WAN MIniport (PPTP)
-WAN MIniport (SSTP)

* Uninstall the Intel (R) Dual Band Wireless- AC 3165 from the Device Manager
* Close the Device Manager
* Restart Windows
* The 3165 will be found and reinstalled. When done, restart Windows
* Retest

If still under warranty, contact Technical Support for your region and have them replace the WiFi card.
