***URGENT***: Latitude E5530 Wireless Randomly Stopped Working
Hello.
I own a Latitude E5530, and I use it for school purposes, so this is extremely urgent I get it fixed ASAP.
My WiFi has been working for a while now,and all the sudden, my Wifi stopped working completely. I try troubleshooting, but it wants me to hookup to the wired connection. I open the DW WLAN Utility, and it says I need a wireless network card to use the utility. I open device manager, and the only thing listed is the Ethernet adapter, under Network Adapters, and nothing with an exclamation point.
I noticed that after installing driver updates from the Dell website, my wifi stopped working and it's just like it disappeared on me, but idontknow if that had an influence at all.
Please, I really need help fixing this, as I go back to school on Monday, and need it that morning.

I did fix this after some research on the Wifi automatically turning off. Here is what I found, for those of you who need it!
"Take a look at your device manager. My wireless lan card has an energy options tab where "The Computer may shut the device off to save energy" is activated. Maybe this can help."
Credit goes to Fusel Wusel, on Notebook Reviews' Forums, here.
The above quote, by Fusel Wusel, is basically saying this:
Open Device Manager, and click the arrow to expand "Network adapters". Under Network adapters, find your WLAN (Wireless) card, right click it, and click properties. Click the "Power Management" tab, and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
This fixed my problem for sure!

Thanks for sharing your solution CobaltSean99!
For others experiencing similar issues / if this solutions does not resolve the problem, make sure to check the latest drivers and BIOS available from the support site and go through basic troubleshooting as provided in the following guide: http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/SLN130171/EN
*Note - The Wireless Radio Control setting in this and other Dell notebook BIOS can have a similar effect if enabled (disabling wireless connections if an Ethernet connection is established)
