RBBDEL4 mouse problem

My old as dirt mouse ran out of battery juice. I got some new batteries but now the Bluetooth light at the top of the mouse wont turn on. So I know there's nothing wrong with my computer. The mouse is also now disconnected from my computer. I skimmed the internet but everything i found, the problem was never solved. Even asked Chat GPT and it said a whole lot of nothing. I really don't want to buy another mouse.
