Problems installing wireless network driver
Hi there,
So I bought new Dell Inspiron 17R (5737). I got it with win7. So I installed all drivers except for wireless network adapter.
At first, I've tried to download the driver from support page by using service tag, but as I was installing an error popped up saying that my pc is not compatible with Intel WiDi. So I followed to the requireenst list: http://supportkb.intel.com/wireless/wireless-display/templates/selfservice/intelwidi/#portal/1026/article/2511
So in Device Manager I extracted the Ids of the Network Controller:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&SUBSYS_44628086&REV_73
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&SUBSYS_44628086
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&CC_0280
By looking in hardware id database, I found out that my wireless network adapter is Intel(R) WiFi Link 7260 series. Tried searching drivers for it, but had no luck so far. Could anybody lend a helping hand?

Found the solution to my problem.
Manually explored this page: http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/sb/cs-008168.htm and downloaded the driver that actually fit my network adapter.
