Limited Access

I know this is a common problem and has been addressed before. But after days of searching, I can't find a solution that works for me. A few times a day my internet access will suddenly switch to limited, which keeps me from using the internet. My computer, an Inspiron 15 - 7547, came with Windows 8.1 and when I check for driver updates, everything is up to date. I don't remember having this problem until a few weeks ago. My computer was purchased from Dell in Jan this year. My Toshiba laptop running Windows 7 doesn't have this problem. When the Dell goes to limited, I check the Toshiba and it is full access. Usually if I disconnect from my wifi network and reconnect, it works. But this is getting to be a hassle. I shouldn't have to do this with a new computer. I've read about the AVG thing, but I don't have that installed. Can someone tell me what's causing this and how to fix it?

I finally fixed my limited access problem by disabling my Bluetooth adapter.

I have the same problem I think and the posts are not responding to the specific issue.

Still no solution. I've done everything I can find posted on the internet to "fix" the problem, but nothing works. I've also had Dell Support trying to fix the problem for three days and still no fix. A complete waste of money buying this new laptop with Windows 8.1. I'm going to do a complete restore on my old Toshiba with Windows 7 and start using it again. It's a piece of junk, but at least I can stay connected to the internet.

Agreed. I  bought mine about same time and within 1 month motherboard broke. Brand new!!!! It took for Dell to fix it more than a month. I was in a middle of my school year and had to buy another computer. I'm here to today about the same issue as you are having. Piece of junk. I've always bought Dell but last purchase has been so unacceptable. I"m also having issue with touchpad. Sometimes all pad turns to right click onlly. It's really wonderful in a middle of my exam. Grrhhh. I think this will be my last Dell, and since I'm buying for company too I will look for another brand.
