Limited access to wifi networks
Hey,
I have dell vostro2521 64bit windows7.
I have problem with my wifi connection.
Every network that i am tring to connect via wifi i got message that says that i have limited connection (with no internet).
My LAN works fine, the problem is with the wifi.
I tried to install new network driver from dell site that fit to my laptop model.
And i tried to connect external network card.
And none of them solved the problem.
Any idea what can i do to fix the problem?

Thank you for your message.
Has there been any recent software change like installing a game or anti-virus or any updates?
Try to disable the antivirus installed on your computer & check if you are able to access the network.
Download the Wi-Fi driver from this link http://dell.to/2wRfOhO & save it to your desktop screen.
Download chipset driver here http://dell.to/2yDPNQp & save it to your desktop screen
Open device manager – expand network adapter – right click on the wireless driver & click on uninstall (check the box that says delete driver) Do not restart the computer.
Install the chipset driver first followed by the wireless driver & then restart the computer.
For my records, please click on my Dell username & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.

This seems to be an issue with the Windows OS.
You can try to disable startup items, right click on the time & click on task manager- click on startup & disable all option including the antivirus.
If the issue persists, you will need to do a reset. You can contact our out of warranty team to purchase a Windows 7 recovery disc, there will be a nominal fee for shipping and handling.
