Hi cptkirkh,
Yes, Dell Wireless 380 Bluetooth Module supports Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP).
Please reply if you have any further queries.

Hi,
You didn't list the version # of your 380 BT's drivers, or the windows version (the E6430 came with both Win 7 and Win 8.
Is your iLife showing up in discoverable devices when you go to pair it with the 380 BT card? , Although they run A2DP support, sometimes it's the BT device (iLife) sometimes is what needs a driver.
and updating the BT drivers, fixes this issue.
This is the latest driver update I can find for your 380 BT card.
I recommend uninstalling the other driver (before you do, check to make sure this is a more recent update, then what you have.
In driver properties for the 380 it should have the driver VER. This one I linked you to is 6.5.1.4000
If yours is more recent, try uninstalling and reinstalling
Win 7 (32 & 64bit) :

Windows 8 8.1 (32 & 64bit) :

Remember always verify your checksum!
Also, sometimes I've had to run official Broadcom drivers on some dell laptops to fix quirky issues! Of updating with the Dell BT drivers doesn't work, try these:
