Latitude 5490 not showing wifi connection nor connections to internet

Hi, I would appreciate if someone can help me on this. I have a latitude 5490 which i have just factory reset. However what i noticed is that I am not able to find the wifi tab on the bottom tool bar. So when i get to dell homepage to download the driver for the wifi. It requires that i get a Microsoft .Net Framework installed. 

I have downloaded version 4.8 which is the latest, however it does not seems to work with the laptop. 

Can i have someone help me on this?
