Inspiron M731R, ethernet sometimes working?

Hi all,

I have a Dell Inspiron M731R (warranty expired on February 6, 2016) and I am able to use wireless internet perfectly. However, whenever I connect an ethernet cable wired directly to the router, it won't connect properly? It shows the icon in the corner as if I'm connected but I cannot use the internet. It takes multiple attempts of unplugging/plugging the cable back into the router and Inspiron M731R and restarting my ethernet port to get it to work which is becoming frustrating.

Any help?

Update June 13 = As a follow up, I have checked the Inspiron M731R, driver page and it seems I was correct in thinking the Realtek adapter is the Ethernet adapter. I have downloaded and installed the driver from that page and it seems to work now. However, it has been inconsistent in the past and has worked one day and not the next. I will update you tomorrow on if it is working or not.
