Inspiron i7-5379 is the slowest download in the house!!!!

Hi,

I recently got a new dell computer (Inspiron 13 i7-5379) and it is showing quite unusual download speed problems. Whether I download a torrent or through website the download speed never reaches beyond 493Kb/s.I have checked with my surface pro 3 and from the same website is able to download at 1.3Mbps.

Tried speedtest and while mine shows a maximum of 3.79M/s download and gives error on upload, the Mac from my girlfriend retrieves 10+M/s download and 0.9M/s upload.

First I though it was drivers, uploaded all of them and no solution, then I tried limiting the bandwith of Win10 for updates but still having same speed problems.

Actually in that same Dell Inspiron of mine, I tried to boot with an Ubuntu USB Live and with Ubuntu the download speed goes up to 940Kb/s!!!!!!!!!! So it seems it is not a hardware problem.

Anybody has an idea of what could be causing the problem?

For the lazy ones, summarizing, download speed half of what should be and through speedtest download is low and upload gives error. Latency between 100-132ms
