inspiron 3847 wiring specs
Inspiron 3847
two long wires, one white and one black are connected to their own metal clip on the front plate of the case. these two wires have become unconnected from the motherboard and I can't see where they should be connected. computer won't start, are these two wires vital?

What you have described could be antenna leads for Wifi. Check the picture below to confirm the wirings.
