Inspiron 15 5579 2-in-1, Windows 10 update, lost WiFi and BT
Hi Y'all-
I have a Dell Inspiron 15 5579 2-in-1 laptop and after a recent Windows 10 update both the Wireless and Bluetooth disappeared from Device Manager (even after selecting show hidden devices), thus I am unable to use the Wifi/Bluetooth. I can currently connect to the internet via Ethernet cable without problem. I have updated drivers for the wireless card (Qualcomm QCA61-4x), BIOS, and chipset from Dell's website; have also rebooted the system multiple times (even with firewall disabled) - all without improvement. I still cannot see the wireless or bluetooth listed under device manager, nor are they listed in the BIOS framework (shows that Wifi Device and bluetooth device as "=(none)" ). In the ePAS Preboot System Assessment the Wireless LAN and Bluetooth are listed as "=Not Installed."
Anyone have any suggestions on how to make the system recognize the wireless card?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you -
