How to enable "switchport" command on x4012 switch?

I got a x4012 switch and I would like to automate it in a lab environment to create dynamic layer 2 connectivity.

I plan to script the command to dynamically add or remove some interfaces to certain vlan, however, to my surprise, I cannot find those commands under interface configuration.

After I configured the vlan from the GUI and type "show run int te1/0/6", the "switchport access vlan 300" shown up in the running-config, however I cannot type in in the configuraiton mode. Is that a bug, or there is a switch somewhere I need to turn on?
