Hot swap UPS NIC

Hi,

Hopefully a quick one.  We have three Dell UPS units (UPS 1920W) and recently bought NICs for each one for management including server shutdown etc.  I'm assuming it's not OK to hot fit the NICs but it would save a lot of hassle if it is possible so any advice would be gratefully received.
