F2/FN + F2 not working. Strange behaviour instead. (Dell N5110)

Hi

I cannot turn on or off the wireless adapter.

When I press F2 it shows the trackpad options. (F3 does the same).

The keyboard and localisation options are correct. (US keyboard layout selected)

The drivers are installed, the device manager is showing everything is fine.

When I check Windows Mobility Center the wireless connection button is greyed out.

I've tried both the on screen keyboard and an external USB keyboard without success.

I just want to use the built in wireless. Please help.
