Dock WD19S 130W QuestionDock WD19S 130W Question

Hello,

I have a question regarding the docking station WD19S 130W. It works fine, but when I turn my laptop off, the dock is still working (fans are turned on), I imagine because it keeps charging my laptop (Latitude 5420) constantly, and it gives power to the USB peripherals such as the microphone.

My question is, once my computer is turned off, can I disconnect the docking station from electric current, so it stops giving power to anything at all, therefore the fan stops aswell? Or will this damage the dock because of the sudden cut of power?
