Desktop PC mainly made of dell parts wont connect

My computer wont connect to the internet. The only thing that will connect is my Netgear Network Adapter. Ive tried troubleshooting my computer's wireless internet but it caught nothing. on my dell connections every single network is basically nonexistent. Whenever I try to connect to the ones I know, I type in the password, and then after a second of rendering the password it just gets stuck where the color slightly fades out and I cant press cancel. However, on my Netgear adapter every connection works halfway or better, and I don't need to type in passwords to connect to networks I know. If anyone can help me with it please tell me the steps to fixing it
