Dell XPS 7590 bluetooth audio device does not connect

Problem:

When pairing the Bang & Olfusen H9i headphones by using bluetooth, the headphones are not being recognized as an audio device. However, by adjusting the Bluetooth settings (Configuratiescherm\Hardware en geluiden\Apparaten en printers > Beoplay H9i > Services > Bluetooth services > turn Audio Sink on) I've managed to have the headphones being listed in the Sound Configuration Panel.

However, my brand new Dell XPS 7590 won't be able to connect with the headphone (this is the exact same problem as covered in this topic).

Tried so far:

> Laptop speakers works fine
> When connecting the headphones with a 3.5mm jack, the headphones works fine
> The headphones can be paired succesfully with my self build Windows desktop, iPhone or Mac
> Another bluetooth headset (the Plantronics 2100) are having the same issue as described above
> The computer drivers are up-to-date

Could you give me other suggestions of what to try?

Thanks!

I am very happy to share the following solution to this problem.

0. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and delete your non-functioning headphone if you haven't already done so.
1, Open Device Manager, navigate to Bluetooth and delete Intel Wireless Bluetooth (including its drivers)

2. Restart your WIndows machine, upon restart, Windows will automatically reinstall the Bluetooth drivers.
3. To reconnect your B&O H9i headphones, please go to Settings > Bluetooth > Add new device. While putting your headphones into pairingmode, please wait a couple of seconds until the second signal (with audio symbol) shows up and then connect to that signal (this is a B&O specific issue that is covered in this Reddit topic more throughly).

Voila, it works. Thanks for the Dell team to keep up with its response so fast.
