DELL XPS 15-9550, Bluetooth headphones connect but no sound
Headphones Jabra Elite 65t. The laptop can connect to them, but no sound
At the same time, the headphones don't appear as Jabra headphones here, and if I right-click on Connect, nothing happens
Usual wired headphones work properly with the laptop. A bluetooth mouse works.
I tried to connect my other bluetooth headphones (Parrot Zik) to the laptop. They didn't work in the same way. Both headphones work properly with smartphones and another my laptop.
All driver updates have been installed.

I removed WIDCOMM software from the system and headphones started working.

Fantastic. This worked for me. I've been struggling with connecting Sony bluetooth headphones to my Dell 9550 for years. Today, I stumbled upon this post because I used different search terms. Long-term problem solved. I wonder why I never saw a reference to WIDCOMM before.

Removing WIDCOMM software worked for me too. I have a Dell XPS 15 9550 bought in 2018, with similar issue. Gave up after trying all forum suggestions. Accidently saw this in 2025 and this fixed it. Can't believe I missed a simple fix and used wired headphones for the last 7 years.
