Dell KB900 keyboard - Teams Chat randomly opens / closes during calls
Hi all
I have a Dell KB900 keyboard that has an annoying issue - although, it may not be the keyboard that's at fault here!
When in a Teams call (API enabled), the in-call Chat window will randomly open and close with no interaction. It's especially frustrating when you're typing in a separate Teams chat and all of a sudden the call chat opens and your typing continues in that window instead of the original chat.
Anyone else seeing this?
(Dell Latitude 7420, Dell WD19WDS dock, WR3 plugged into the laptop USB-A port, KB900, MS900 - all latest drivers etc through Dell Peripheral Manager / Dell Command etc.)

UPDATE: - The issue only starts after interacting with the softkeys on the keyboard (in my case I muted my conversation), then chat goes nuts. Disabling the Chat button in DPM config stops the issue, but is not a solution.

Further update - by disabling Chat notifications from other chats in Teams settings appears to have stopped the random chat window appearing/disappearing - looks like it was maybe being triggered each time a chat or channel was receiving a new message. Technically still not a solution, but a workaround.

Further further update: The above has not fully rectified the issue, I still get the in-call chat window popping up randomly, but it is far less often.

Further update - had a Zoom call yesterday and the chat randomly popped up there too. So, seems like a firmware issue?
