Bluetooth

Since recent windows updates the bluetooth on my XPS13 seems to have stopped working.

I download the driver and it worked until the system went into sleep mode.  Now windows shows that this device does not have bluetooth.  There is no option to turn on bluetooth manually.

This has happened since the June windows update and still running 1909 windows release and NOT 2004 which does not yet seem available to this laptop.

Any help?

I tried this at the end and it worked for me. This is the link from another discussion on Dell support site - https://www.dell.com/community/XPS-Desktops/XPS-8930-Qualcomm-Atheros-QCA61x4-Bluetooth-on-not-working/td-p/7563547

Before that I tried to install Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 Bluetooth driver from lenovo they had 10.0.0.948.

My steps were,

  1. Install driver (948)
  2. Disable Bluetooth driver from device manager
  3. Perform MB reset as in the link,
    1. Shutdown
    2. Remove power cord
    3. Press power button for 10 secs
    4. Insert power cord and Start

I executed the above steps in order, though you can first just try with step 3 (same as the link)

My bluetooth setup is working at the moment. Wanted to share fyi.

Thanks.
