bluetooth headset for 9100 with xp?

I'm trying to get a Belkin Bluetooth Hands-Free Headset (F8T061) to be the headset for my 9100.

It connects OK and I can hear sounds well, but the record volume is unusably low.

Anyone doing this?

I am also using a Cardo scala-500 with my Precision M60.  Like you the volume is plenty loud but the recording is extremely low even with the sliders at maximum.  There seems to be no mic boost available as with the on-board audio options.  All updates installed as of 01.02.2005.  I hope someone knows of a solution.
