If the Airplane Mode on your Dell Latitude/E5530 laptop is stuck and greyed out, here are a few things you can try:
Check for physical switches or buttons: Some laptops have physical switches or buttons that can turn Airplane Mode on or off. Check your laptop's documentation or look for a switch or button on the laptop itself.
Update the BIOS: Check the Dell website for any available BIOS updates for your laptop. Installing the latest BIOS may help resolve the issue.
Check device drivers: Make sure that all device drivers, especially the network adapter drivers, are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the Dell website.
Run the Windows Network Troubleshooter: Open the Windows Network Troubleshooter and let it diagnose any issues it finds. To do this, right-click on the network icon in the taskbar and select "Troubleshoot problems".
Reset network settings: Open the Command Prompt as an administrator and type "netsh winsock reset" and press Enter. This will reset the Winsock catalog to its default configuration and may help resolve the issue.
