VLT OSFP VRRP
Hello,
Im changing my single router "Cisco ISR" to 2x Dell Switch 4148F-ON
I need to utilize:
1. VLT to create VLT Domain and redundancy
2. VRRP active/active for the GateWay
3. OSPF to connect to other routers
Question's are, is it possible to utilize all that featuers together ?
Is thing "VLT peer routing" needed to be configured ?
How to configure properly OSPF in such environment?

Hi abMarcin,
yes it is possible to utilize all 3 technologies together.
1) VLT for layer 2 redundancy (MLAG)
2) VRRP active/active mode in VLT as first hop router redundancy
3) OSPF in VLT with active peer-routing for L3 upstream redundancy
Please have a look at our OS10 VLT guide:
https://infohub.delltechnologies.com/static/media/0b6521c4-1d7a-41c5-953d-daf48e8a08e0.pdf
Peer routing in OS10 is no longer considered as an alternative to VRRP as we did not implement certain features
but it is helpful to optimize the traffic flow for routed connections (each peer can forward on behalf of it's parter without utilizing the interconnect).

Hello,
This article might be useful for you. Example 1 using OSPF | Dell Networking Layer 3 Leaf-Spine Deployment and Best Practices with OS10 release 10.5.3.0.44 | Dell Technologies Info Hub
Hope that helps!

Hello,
I know this has been rightfully closed many moons ago but I haven't found a configuration guide specific about OSPF and VLT working together in OS10 in the provided link.
Has it moved or is there a better link with more documentation/guides?
Thank you,
Dany
