Upgrading 6224P
Hi Everyone,
I have a Dell PowerConnect 6224P being used as a layer 3 core switch at our Data Center. It does all the routing for our network, around 12 subnets\Vlans. It is old and I would like to replace it soon. I know Dell switches are hard to come by these days. I have a couple questions.
1: I have an N1548. Is this a good replacement?
2: Can I download the config from the 6224 to the n1548?
3: Is there a better recommended switch?
My routing skills are minimal but I am sure I can configure a new switch from scratch if needed.
Thanks much

Hi @rhlee33,
Thanks for continuous support of Dell products.
N1548 is indeed a good switch, but to replace the switch that you have in your data center, we may need the sales engineer to check if it fits your environment configuration. As 6224P's configuration cannot be imported into N1548. There are always better switches but if it's valuable and fit for usage in your data center. My advice is to contact the sales department and let them engage the sales engineer to analyze.
Or perhaps you're waiting for the community to chip in their opinion, I'll be just monitoring this post from time to time.
