Time sync on N2248P-ON with firmware 6.8.1.0

Hi,

I am setting up some N2248P-ON which I updated to the latest firmware 6.8.1.0. It seems time sync possibilities for the local clock changed. There are no time sync setting in the GUI anymore and SNTP commands are gone from CLI.

I tried to setting up NTP in client mode using the following settings:

ntp server 10.3.0.1
ntp server 10.3.0.2
clock summer-time recurring EU zone "CEST"
clock timezone 1 minutes 0 zone "CET"

but it doesn't seem to work. I only get:

#show ntp associations

remote refid st t when poll reach delay offset jitter
==============================================================================
10.3.0.1 .INIT. 16 u - 512 0 0.000 +0.000 0.000
10.3.0.2 .INIT. 16 u - 512 0 0.000 +0.000 0.000

Servers can be pingend and are used as NTP servers by other clients.
Is there anything I can do?

Thanks,
Stephan

TPok,

From what I am seeing it looks like Dell changed the features with 6.8.1, so it now appears that the N1108/N1500 switches only support SNTP, where as the N2200 and N3200 series switches only support NTP now.

Let me know if this helps.
