Switch S3148 SNMP

Hello,Hopefully you can help me with the following, we have new switches, the S3148, to replace the N2048.I monitored the temperature of the switches in our monitoring software, but now this no longer appears to work because it does not recognize the OID string. The string I used to read the temperature was 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10895.5000.2.6132.1.1.43.1.15.1.3.2Unfortunately this no longer works. Can you tell me what the new string is or how I can find out.I have downloaded a MIB file, but I don't understand what I can do with it or how to read it. I tried a MIB browser, but I don't understand much of it.

Thank you

Glad to hear that. Actually, it was not so quickly for me but at least I just use 9.14.2.1 version on a MIB browser from here https://dell.to/3PmBM2a

Hope that helps!

I’ve worked with the S3148 before, and SNMP setup can definitely be a bit tricky depending on your firmware version. Make sure SNMP is enabled globally and also on the specific interfaces you're trying to monitor. Also double-check your access control settings sometimes the issue is just with the community string permissions or access list restrictions. If you're integrating with a monitoring tool like PRTG or Zabbix, testing with a basic SNMP walk can help confirm if data’s coming through properly. Let me know if you’re stuck on a particular part happy to help!

Hello for anyone encountering the same or similar issue, please start a new thread and provide your current firmware version first. Depending on the firmware version, the MIB file to be applied also differs.
