Storm-Control Command issue on N1500 Series / Firmware 6.6.0.2
Hi guys,
the last 5 years I was working with Cisco switches and know we are testing Dell networking switches.
I have a N1548P and a N1524P in a stack. I configured an access interface with the following commands:
interface gi1/0/14
storm-control broadcast level 10
storm-control broadcast action shutdown
spanning-tree portfast
switchport access vlan 903
When I add storm-control broadcast action trap, It replaces the shutdown command:
interface gi1/0/14
storm-control broadcast level 10
storm-control broadcast action trap
spanning-tree portfast
switchport access vlan 903
On Cisco Switches I can add both:
storm-control broadcast level 0.30 0.20
storm-control multicast level 0.20 0.10
storm-control action shutdown
storm-control action trap
Do you have any idea?

Hi NetGuy30,
It is working as intended. The command lets you do trap or shutdown. If you chose shutdown it also traps. Page 1155 https://dell.to/2Xie4ZK
